March 1st and 3rd Work on After Effects
We had to learn how to animate logos in After Effects. We learned more of the basic mechanics while doing so. We also learned how to make basic effects happen, such as fading in logos or text. We also learned how to make the opacity vary. In today's class we added text presets and built new compositions. We combined the two while also. creating an animation of this text. We also imported pictures, or shapes, from the Adobe Illustrator files. An example of this is the plants in the final screenshot of my work. We changed the opacity of several text features in order to make this as professional as possible. This can be applied in the real world through documentaries, such as the one upcoming in this class. Another way would be in sports documentaries on ESPN.
